great-- they are light, soft, flexible, and comfortable, and they keep my glasses stable even when bouncing around and sweating like crazy.
Because they keep my glasses close to my eyes, they are a bit more prone to fog up when I'm not moving and getting fresh air circulating around the lenses. I'll keep fiddling with them, though, and I think that I can improve things. Even if I can't, I am still thrilled not to have to push my glasses back up from the end of my nose every couple of minutes.
They probably cost a fraction of a penny to make, so the profit margin on these must be astronomical. But if they last a couple of years I won't complain too much. If they don't last, I'll let you know. So far, so good....
UPDATE: July 6, 2011. After almost a year, they are still as good as new. No issues, no problems. I just bought a back-up pair for myself and a pair for my wife, who is a rower... she just used them for the first time this morning and loves them.

This is the greatest little invention. I must wear glasses at all times, except when sleeping. I cannot wear contacts and I am not a candidate for lasik type surgery. This time, I decided to go all out and get some stylish Makita frames. I had never worn this type of frame before...the temples did not curve around the ears, but rather gripped your head. The stainless steel Makita design worked great in the office before lenses were ground. After fitting with highest refraction index lenses available, the weight change was enough so that these glasses always slipped down on my nose (non existent bridge) and could not be adjusted with the pads. I almost had to ditch $1500 frames and lenses (lenses cost almost 2/3 of price).
I came across the Reax when I was looking for some sort of traditional Croakie style eyewear retainer. These soft silicone ear pieces are fantastic, and have made the glasses into everything I expected them to be. They are so great, I bought another pair in case something happens to the original pair. I cannot live without them. This may seem extreme, but when you have vision like mine, this is a huge deal.
Since I will also be doing more vigorous activities, there is another style of Reax that I purchased directly from Croakies. Same ear pieces, but there is a cord that connects to each earpiece so you have the traditional retaining cord if you need it. Should be a good extra measure of safety while boating, hikes and playing tennis.

I bought them before going to Hajj and found them to be great help. If you are going to be in a sitution where you do not have second chances at picking up your glasses if they do fall off than this is the right product for you. They probably great for running, hiking or what every. No longer you have to keep pushing your glasses up if they keep sliding, but be aware of not making them too tight as they may leave marks on you noise because they are so tight.

I bought these for my four year old that is new to wearing glasses. Her glasses kept slipping down her nose and she would look over them.. defeating the purpose. I went online looking for a strap of some sort, and ran across these hooks; so I bought these and kid croakies strap. When they arrived, she wanted the strap (it was pink) but after a day.. it just wasn't tight enough to hold to her face. So I talked her into trying the hooks. They slid right on and as far up the arms as I wanted. Her glasses now hug her face and she enjoys wearing them. The hooks are soft, flexible and hide behind the ears. I'm going to buy another pair for back up..can't imagine being without!
